Following up from my last post on Friday, June 5th, we did go to our neighborhood Bocce ball tournament that night and had a great time enjoying a beautiful night with friends, neighbors and margaritas.  So many fun conversations about Sharecipe and how people use it.   Everyone has their own “network” of friends who cook and so many were excited to get “so and so” on and to share all of their own special recipes.  One friend in particular wants to share his amazing family Italian dessert recipes.  How great is that?

Our first week has flown by in a blur of excitement.  We now have well over 600 users, 350+ recipes and many wonderful emails sent to us from people thanking us for the site.  And of course if you “wish” Sharecipe did “this” then we would love to hear about it.  Thank you to those of you who have already given us some great ideas!  We have an exciting road map of features we hope to roll out over the next 6-9 months and your input is appreciated.

Sharecipe in the news last week was fun.   We were featured in the Wisconsin State Journal’s 77 square, Madison Magazine , Milwaukee Journal on-line and issued our Sharecipe launch press release on Friday, June 12th.

Now we are focused on spreading the word, getting the road map finalized and eating great Sharecipe food.  Butternut Squash and Spinach Risotto tonight…yum.
